Hope you’re having a lovely beginning of a new week. Comment down below what you got up. (I always need ideas for next weekend.) This weekend I spent Friday night relaxing and Saturday was spent with my friend, Jade, taking photos and finishing the night with a delicious carbonara and garlic bread. On Sunday, we went over to my roommate, Grace’s, dad’s for a roast which was amazing. I made a chocolate tart and made pastry for the first time. It didn’t turn out too bad! This week at HPR is our press day, so it’s a busy week of prepping and merchandising the new collections. It’s always exciting seeing the new designs each season though. Anyway, on to this week’s post, I wanted to talk about breaking an old fashion rule we all know.
Read MoreI hope you’re all having the best, coziest Sunday ever. These chilly February days are made for cozying up, eating warm soups, drinking hot chocs, and watching movies under fuzzy blankets, aren’t they? Comment down below what your fav thing is to do in this cold weather. I know the cooler weather and shorter days can get us all feeling a bit stuck in a rut, especially when it comes to our wardrobes, but I’m hoping this blog post might change that!
For the weekly blog post, I wanted to talk about when it’s time to refresh your wardrobe and a few tips on how to do it! These are the 5 signs that it’s time to revive your closet.
Read MoreHow has your weekend and Thanksgiving been? Have you been rocking some killer fall/winter outfits? Comment down below what your current favorite winter outfit is! I’ve been up in Newcastle this week visiting my brother, exploring the city, and eating lots of food, most importantly of which was our Thanksgiving meal! Although we missed our Tennessee family, it was nice that Fergus and I got to spend it together and try out cooking it for ourselves! We did pretty well apart from our roasted veg could’ve been…well a bit more roasted! Anyway, the day after our Thanksgiving meal, Fergus took me touring around Newcastle and took some awesome shots for this week’s post featuring my ‘ugly’ sneakers!
We may call them ugly, but everyone who’s anyone in the fashion industry has been rocking these less-than-sleek babies, from Gigi Hadid to bloggers to models in the Louis Vuitton ads . They’ve also been called chunky trainers, dad shoes, and a fashion Frankenstein. There are obviously endless ways to rock them, but these are my top three ways I would recommend to pull off your own dad sneakers.

Anyway, this week, I wanted to talk about the print of the season! If you've been paying a lick of attention to this upcoming season's trends or even just checking out what's new in the shops, you'll have noticed cheetah or leopard print EVERYWHERE (much to my mom's bestie, Mrs. Cindy's, joy)! Cheetah print is obviously a timeless print that will be around long after other quirky prints, but it seems to be making an ever bigger resurgence this autumn than ever before!
Since it's a pattern I feel quite comfortable rocking, I've decided to kind of rethink the way I typically wear it and be a bit more creative with it, whether that's wearing it with unexpected colors, wear a lot more of it at once, or even mixing different patterns with it!
Read MoreI hope you're all having a lovely weekend and have survived this colder than expected March weather, especially if you were hit by the, so called, Beast from the East! Luckily, we made it out here with only a couple smaller flurries and a drop in temperature. Our trees are still blooming, as you can see! Today, I thought it would be a great idea to talk about you can re-style and recycle your New Year's Eve, Christmas, and other party dresses to make them more casual and spring appropriate! Wearing dresses in a casual way is one of my favorite outfits.
Read MoreThis Valentine's Day, I've been thinking about how important it is to love yourself. Yes, we all have our little flaws, but loving yourself first is an essential part to being a healthy and overall happy individual, in my opinion. On this day when we're so busy showing everyone else how much we love them, don't forget to show yourself a little love.
Read MoreIt's finally February! We made it through one of the longest months of the year. Congrats! This week, in light of recent women's marches that went on throughout the world a couple weeks ago, I thought I would talk about how we can better support the community of women in our lives. Whether that be the women in your workplace, an online community of women you've never met, or just your closest confidants and best of friends, we should all have each others' backs! You might not have made it to a women's march near you, but here's how you can support women on a smaller, but still important, scale.
Read MoreI hope you're all doing well on this dreary January morning. Has this not been the longest month ever? It feels like it will never end, and I don't know about you, but we've been having some not-so-lovely weather! Instead of crisp, frosty mornings, we've been having soggy grey ones.
Because of the less than cheerful weather and this never-ending month after the holiday season, I know many of you, like me, is getting a bit bored or feeling uninspired when it comes to your wardrobe. You've probably even resulted to wearing black everyday, which, while easy, can also be quite unexciting. Not to fear though, I'm challenging you to reinvent the way we all wear black.
(My friend from high school, Miranda Meyers took these amazing shots for me, and they're honestly some of my favorites to date. We had so much fun creating these photos and chatting all afternoon! I've been wanting to work with her for ages now. Head over to her blog and instagram and give her amazing work some love.)

Not usually a frequent companion for the summer months, my go-to BDG Urban Outfitters skinnies can still make an appearance in May. For this post, I thought I would let you know how I would style black skinny jeans for a warm summer month.
Read MoreSorry for my little blogging break last weekend. It was my 22nd birthday and I just wanted to focus on spending time with my lovely friends and family! Thank you to all of those who left me lovely birthday wishes on Facebook and Instagram. You guys are the best! For this week's fashion post, I thought I would go for a more summery look. There is a festival in town this weekend and the sun has been shining everyday, so I thought this look was very appropriate.
