Hope you’re having a lovely beginning of a new week. Comment down below what you got up. (I always need ideas for next weekend.) This weekend I spent Friday night relaxing and Saturday was spent with my friend, Jade, taking photos and finishing the night with a delicious carbonara and garlic bread. On Sunday, we went over to my roommate, Grace’s, dad’s for a roast which was amazing. I made a chocolate tart and made pastry for the first time. It didn’t turn out too bad! This week at HPR is our press day, so it’s a busy week of prepping and merchandising the new collections. It’s always exciting seeing the new designs each season though. Anyway, on to this week’s post, I wanted to talk about breaking an old fashion rule we all know.

Its flown by for me, but I bet some of you would argue that it’s been the longest month ever. Anyway, I guess we should leave behind the topic of chilly Januarys and get back to the topic we’re all here to talk about, fashion!
One of the rising trends I’ve seen this winter/spring season is the oh-so-unexpected boiler-suit! That’s right, they’ve come back around and are extremely on trend again. Read MoreHow has your weekend and Thanksgiving been? Have you been rocking some killer fall/winter outfits? Comment down below what your current favorite winter outfit is! I’ve been up in Newcastle this week visiting my brother, exploring the city, and eating lots of food, most importantly of which was our Thanksgiving meal! Although we missed our Tennessee family, it was nice that Fergus and I got to spend it together and try out cooking it for ourselves! We did pretty well apart from our roasted veg could’ve been…well a bit more roasted! Anyway, the day after our Thanksgiving meal, Fergus took me touring around Newcastle and took some awesome shots for this week’s post featuring my ‘ugly’ sneakers!
We may call them ugly, but everyone who’s anyone in the fashion industry has been rocking these less-than-sleek babies, from Gigi Hadid to bloggers to models in the Louis Vuitton ads . They’ve also been called chunky trainers, dad shoes, and a fashion Frankenstein. There are obviously endless ways to rock them, but these are my top three ways I would recommend to pull off your own dad sneakers.
Read MoreHow are you on this lovely Sunday? This week I wanted you talk about one of the eras I've been incorporating into my wardrobe a lot recently....Can you guess what it is?
Yes, it's the 80s! Below are some of my favorite 80s-type trends that you should definitely be incorporating into your modern wardrobe.
Read MoreOne of the ruts that we often fall into is simply buying from the same, well-known brands over and over and over again. I can't say much myself, because they're convenient, always stocked, and have some pretty great prices, but they can begin to overtake our wardrobes. Whether your go-to is Zara, Target, Forever21, Topshop, or Old Navy, we start to look like a walking advertisement for that brand rather than creating our own unique blend of brands that define our personal style. If you want to have a wardrobe that is more original and not exactly the same as the next girl, you have to put a little work and research into finding new and exciting brands!
Below are just a few of the habits you can get into that might help you find some one-of-a-kind pieces that deserve to be in your closet!
Read MoreThis summer, I've been channeling my inner Justin Timberlake circa 2001, with denim on denim (cringey!). Surprisingly though, I'm enjoying rocking it and slowly learning how to make it work.
The key to the denim on denim look is to either completely match your denims, like I did here, or contrasting them.

Today, I thought I should just catch you up on my recent trip to Ireland, and what I think. Below I've included all the reasons you need to get yourselves to Ireland, whether it's food, photogenic locations, or shopping.
Read MoreI hope you can forgive me for missing last week's post. I was travelling to visit family, and wanted to focus on them for a couple days.
This week, I am in Dublin, Ireland!! I thought it was appropriate to talk about my tips for holiday packing! As a frequent flyer back and forth from England, visiting family, I've learned quite a bit. Typically, airlines restrict you to a certain weight and number of bags when travelling, but with my tips you'll have room for everything you need, including space for all your purchases. As per request, here's the tricks I've learned over the past seventeen years.
