Hope you’ve all had a productive week. I’ve had a lovely week exploring London. My friend, Sarah and I went to Notting Hill on Wednesday, and this weekend my brother’s girlfriend, Felicia, visited me, so got up to loads of fun things! We visited Tate Modern, went to see Wicked on the West End, and ate lots of delish food. What more can a girl ask for? This weekend was the perfect cure for those January blues. Anyway, for this week’s blog post, I wanted to talk about how I’ve been escaping these so-called January blues, as I always find it to be a trying month filled with lots of pressures and expectations. Despite getting some bad news this month, I’ve still managed to stay positive and below are some of the things that have helped me, including weekend’s like this one. You might benefit from adding these little habits to your routine too.

My good thing is that I’ve really been enjoying this week is spending time with my friends! Thursday night I went out for cheese fondue with them and then went to go and see Mary Queen of Scots, which was amazing by the way!
not-so-good thing is that we’re still on the hunt for the right apartment in London, which seems like an impossible task. It’s exhausting, but I still have faith we’re going to to find the one for us!
Anyway, for this week’s post, I giving you a much-needed life update! Here are all the things I’ve been up to, how I’ve been settling in here in London, and what my plans are this year.
Read MoreIt’s finally feeling like fall, friends! Whoop whoop! Are you taking this cooler weather in your stride, perhaps going on walks in the crunching leaves or breaking out your coziest of sweaters? Maybe you’re even sipping a warm latte, wrapped up in a plaid scarf, which leads me on to the topic of this week’s post!
Of all the fall trends that accompany the changing trees and falling leaves, I have to admit that plaid, tartan, or check my might be favorite. With it comes with a very British association from things like Burberry’s iconic pattern, traditional Scottish kilts, Vivienne Westwood’s designs, and London punk rockers. Plus, I just love the fact that tartan originated in Scotland and each different pattern represented a different clan. It’s such a cool and interesting start to a pattern’s history unlike any other’s.

Read MoreHow are you doing on this sunny Sunday, lovely people? I hope you've had a brilliant week and weekend filled with picnics, barbecues, and swimming! Comment down below what you've been up to! This week, we celebrated the 4th of July with our American pals! I mean, what's more unexpected than Englishmen hosting an American Independence Day party?! (We jump on any excuse for great food and hanging with great friends of course!) Anyway, tomorrow might be Monday, but that also means a fresh start so let's make it a good week!
When you think casual, comfy clothing, the first thing that pops into your head might be some dull baggy sweatpants (Reeboks with the strap, aye!) or some nike shorts and a black or grey tee, but casual doesn't have to be that boring. Today, I want to discuss why casual and comfy doesn't have to mean black leggings and a black top! All clothing is getting more and more comfy these days, so there's no excuse not to look put together at the same time as being comfortable. Here's how to stay comfy while still keeping colorful!
Read MoreI hope you're having a great start to the week. Today is my 23rd birthday and I cannot believe how fast this year has flown by! Twenty three years kind of sounds like a long time, doesn't it? For this post, I decided to wait until my actual birthday because I want to share with you 10 things you might not already know about me! It's kind of like a 'get to know me' post and I'd also love if you'd leave a comment telling me something I might not know about yourself!
Read MoreThere is a common misconception that fashion has to be uncomfortable, but today I'm here to bust that myth. Now, more than ever, comfort is becoming key. Along with the rise of athleisure (activewear made fashion-forward), comfort is driving a lot on and off the runways as of late. Louis Vuitton just brought out a pair of tennis shoes for goodness sake!...albeit not everyone's cup of tea. Fashion is clearly changing, and for those of you that have steered away from 'fashionable' items because they might be uncomfortable, now is your time to shine!
In wake of this, I thought it would be super helpful to talk about which comfortable, athleisure pieces to incorporate into your style, while still looking put together. Comfort and trendiness can go hand-in-hand, especially because, chancing are if it's comfortable, you're going to wear it more.

Today, in celebration of the blooming spring flowers, we're talking all things color. After doing some research on last month's various fashion weeks, upcoming decor trends, and Pantone's official color forecast, I've created a condensed guide to the colors you need to be rocking this spring and which ones will suit you the best!
