Life Updates & Lockdown 2.0
Happy Sunday guys,
Hope you’ve all been ok! It’s been a stressful week for us all I think, after the announcement of us going into a second lockdown here in the UK and the election drama over in the USA. Comment down below how you’ve been feeling this week.
I thought it was about time I hit you with another little life update blog post. A lot has changed for me recently and it’s only fair that I share it with you lovely people. Feel free to leave your own lovely life updates below. I’m excited to hear what you’ve been up to and how you’ve been coping.
On the Move
A couple months ago, I moved house! I’m not far from where I was before in London. I’m staying East and have just moved from Shoreditch to Hackney. While I loved the vibrance and excitement of Shoreditch, I did find it a bit overwhelming at times. Here in Hackney, my bedroom overlooks Victoria Park, which is convenient for running and dog spotting! It’s also very relaxing having the greenery nearby, which I decided over during the first lockdown, was something that I needed.
New Career Path
I’ve got a new job! This week was my first week in my new role. I’m very excited to be working again and still within the fashion industry as a social media executive. You all know how much I love social media and content creation, so I’m loving this new role and think it might be perfect for me.
Lockdown 2.0
Unfortunately, the UK has entered another lockdown. At first I found myself feeling quite anxious and stressed about the whole situation. This time I wasn’t able to run up to Newcastle and spend it with my brother and Felicia, so that added a bit of unfamiliarity to this second lockdown. Now I’ve come to realize that we all made it through the first lockdown and that was three months long, I’ve realized that I will make it through this one as well.
Thank you so much for reading this week’s blog post. I hope you enjoyed my little life update. A special thank you goes to Lucy for taking these photos for me. She’s amazingly talented and we always have a fun time getting creative together. If you’re interested in my outfit, you can shop it below, including my favourite jeans at the moment from Monki! Remember to stay positive and keep yourselves busy. Read my blog post about how to keep busy during lockdown if you need some more ideas to stay busy. Also, check back next week for another blog post and in the mean time follow me on Instagram. Have a great week guys!
