Happy Sunday friends,

Hope you’re having a lovely weekend. Comment down below what you’ve been up to. Friday night we ordered a takeaway pizza and watched a movie, Saturday brought pretty bad weather, but I still got out for a quick run. Today I went for another run and then we walked around the Victoria Park Sunday Market in the sun. I got a Bahni Mi sandwich for lunch and it was insane. Tonight we’re attempting to make some homemade pasta! I’m excited to see how it goes! (Head over to my instagram for updates!)

This week, I wanted to talk about how what you wear really can affect your mood. Often times we fall victim to dressing how we feel, instead of dressing to improve that feeling. For example, if you’re feeling down, you might throw on a pair of comfy joggers and a hoodie. I challenge you to read this and then dress for how you want to feel instead of how you are feeling. We should all be using what we wear as a secret weapon to improve ourselves, our self-confidence, and our moods.

Self-Confidence

Wearing something that you feel makes you look amazing and compliments your best features can actually boost your self-confidence exponentially in my opinion. Science shows that how we dress can give us an extra edge in our professional and personal lives. Wearing something you feel great in can actually boost productivity and performance in all areas of your life.

Colour My Mood

We all know that colour can affect our mood, so why not wear it on our bodies, right? Wearing a more colourful outfit affects the way you feel throughout the day. Colour can affect our mood, behaviors, attitude, and even personality. Find what colours you love to wear and try to incorporate them into your outfit whenever you’re feeling down.

Hidden Secrets

Studies show that even what underwear you wear can affect your mood and give you confidence. Wearing underwear that you feel comfortable and sexy in can actually make you act more confidently throughout your day. So when I say throw on your best, I mean everything, even your best under garments haha.

Thank you so much for reading this week’s blog post. In future, when you’re getting dressed in the morning think of your outfit as a device to improve your mood. You are what you wear, right! Comment down below what outfit makes you feel on top of the world.
