Fall #OOTD

Good morning lovely people,

How are you all doing on this cool Sunday morning? I hope you're enjoying the cooler weather as much as I am! (I honestly couldn't stop smiling the first day it was under 60 degrees haha...I'm such a cold-weather person!)

Today, I just wanted to share with you a fall outfit that I'm loving right now! I was inspired to pick up this pinafore dress from Topshop, by my all-time-inspiration, Megan Ellaby (check her out if you haven't already. She's a dream!). The rest of the outfit fell together from there.

The Dress

I thought this was the perfect fall 2017 dress. It is Prince of Wales check print (that's what we call it in England anyway...not sure what it's called here.), which is the print of the season! You'll be seeing it everywhere, I promise! Be sure to find yourself the perfect piece with this print. For me, this dress seemed like a different way to incorporate the pattern, so I went for it! I love the subtle pink threads running through it.

The Boots

Similarly to last year, velvet is another trend that you will see adorning boots, jackets, and bags..Oh my! I pulled out my gorgeous pink velvet boots from last winter, to finish off this look. I think they did just the trick!

The Sweatshirt

This sweatshirt was so different that I just couldn't pass it up. The pink fur embellished sleeves really sold it for me! I'm still a sucker for a statement sleeve, if you can't tell! The pink also tied in perfectly with the dress and boots.
