1 Blazer 5 Ways
Happy Sunday lovelies,
Hope you’re all having a lovely long weekend if you’re here in the UK. We have a bank holiday on Monday so it’s an extra long weekend. I’ve finally got to go up to Derbyshire after a year and a half and visit my family. So lovely eating home cooked meals, catching up on the last year and spending time with some of my favourite people. Can’t wait until my mum and dad are back here in the same area as well.
For this week’s blog post, I wanted to style one of my favourite items, the blazer, five different ways. This one in particular is from NA-KD and I’m obsessed! I thought this might help you think of different ways to style your own blazers too. They don’t always have to make an appearance for the office. If you’re looking for a a new one, definitely check out NA-KD.com!
Belt it
For ultimate impact (and if your blazer is long enough), simply add a cool belt and some boots. This look definitely makes a statement and looks kind of bad ass.
Sporty Skirt
For a sporty summer look, pair your blazer with a tennis skirt, sporty top, and trainers. I wore this combo nonstop last summer and I plan on doing the same this time.
Cut it Short
Now that the weather is finally warming up, it’s time to wack out the shorts. The blazer makes the shorts a bit more sophisticated while the shorts keep the blazer fun. Bermuda style shorts are very on trend this season, so if you have a pair definitely try pairing them with a blazer.
Cool Casual
I’ve talked about it many times, but if you want to take a casual look to the office, simply add a blazer. If you want to make a hoodie look way more put together, a blazer is the perfect piece for this.
Trendy Trousers
Finally, to jazz up a plain blazer, I recommend trying some patterned or bright trousers. You can’t go wrong with this combo and although it’s trousers and a blazer, the patterns and colours still keep it fun and flirty.
