Happy Sunday friends,

Hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend. I’ve spent the weekend brunching with my old roommate, Megan, strolling around Shoreditch in the sunshine, planning my gallery wall in my room, and watching Indian Match Making on Netflix with my mum and Mrs. Cindy (Definitely recommend if you haven’t watched it yet!). Comment down below what you’ve been up to this weekend.

This week I’m bringing you the ultimate guide to a winning summer to autumn transitional wardrobe. Can you believe it’s fall already?! I can’t quite wrap my brain around how quick this year has gone. The pieces below are a must if you want to feel prepared for the coming chillier weather.

Ankle Boots

The key piece of footwear for a successful transitional wardrobe is definitely a pair of ankle boots. This pointed lace-up boots from Office are perfect for wearing with dresses, skirts, or under some long trousers. I’m keeping an eye out for a new pair of black ankle boots, so let me know if you see any you think I might like.

Long Sleeve Dress

One of my all time favorite style pieces is the long sleeve dress. I would wear them all day every day if I could. This shirt dress from Zara is a perfect example of what I want to be wearing all autumn, and I’ve thrown on a cool waist-belt to complete the look.

Lightweight Jacket

Now is the time for lightweight jackets and blazers to shine as we move into slightly cooler weather. I seem to have one in every shade, so I’m excited to dive in and wear some of my much loved jackets and blazers that haven’t seen much love since before lockdown.

Cosy Cardigan

One thing I’m looking to purchase this autumn is a cute cardi! I’ve seen some gorgeous ones in the shops recently. I think it’s a must for wearing around the house and on chilly evenings out and about.

Trendy Trousers

As you’ve probably noticed, I’ve been loving my trousers recently. I’ve been pairing my long trousers with my more summery tops, so I can still get use out of them.

Thank you so much for reading this week’s blog post. Hope you’re feeling a bit more confident about transitioning your wardrobe from summer to autumn. Comment something you’ll be adding to your autumn wardrobe this year. Remember to follow me on Instagram to keep up with what I’m doing on a daily basis. Shop my wardrobe below if you’ve got your eye on anything (I couldn’t find the exact dress, but I’ve linked a similar one.). Check back here at thestyletransplant.com next week for a new blog post. Have a great week guys!
