How To Style That White Shirt You Just Bought

Hope you’re all doing well on this chilly October Sunday. What have you been up to this weekend? This week I explored more of Nottinghill with my friend, Megan, and had a delish brunch! I went for strawberry pancakes of course. The rest of the week, I’ve also been cooking some good food, watching Gavin and Stacy, and doing a bit of cheeky shopping.

For this week’s blog post, I thought I’d style one of the pieces many of us have been adding to our wardrobes this season; a white shirt (especially with a statement collar)! My shirt of choice is this white number from H&M. Below I’ve created some ways you can style your own white shirt. Bang on a Bustier

Your bustiers, bralettes, and tank tops don’t have to go into hiding now that the warmer weather is gone! Your classic white shirt is the perfect opportunity to keep these more summery pieces wearable well into the cooler weather. Just throw them on top of your shirt for added interest and shape.

Get Your Graphic (Tee) On

Add a feminine touch to your grundgy graphic tees by layering your white shirt underneath. Your statement collar shirt doesn’t have to be super feminine. Pairing it with one of your favorite band tees adds a cool edgy vibe.

Dainty in a Dress

Strappy dresses can again be carried on into autumn and winter with a bit of creative layering. Throw your favourite summery dress over a white shirt and some killer boots to nail autumnal fashion.

Jazzy Jumper

For ultimate warmth, layer your shirt under a cosy jumper. The shirt collar popping out of the top makes your boring jumper feel like new. See my previous post for some of my favourite knitwear of the season.
