It's All In the Details

Happy Sunday everyone,

How are you all doing? I have to admit I'm on a little bit of a low after coming back from our amazing trip to Ireland and England, but I'm still trying to make the most of the summer months.

For my first post back at home, I just thought I'd talk about the little details and how they can make an entire outfit. Below I'll talk about the details of each piece in this outfit and why it works.

The Blazer

A key part of this outfit is this gorgeous Banana Republic blazer. It helps add some unique interest because instead of the classic floral dress, it has been reimagined in blazer form. You don't see gorgeous floral blazers everyday.

The t-Shirt

Instead of throwing on a plain white tee with this statement blazer, I decide my t-shirt needed a little detail too! I decided on my beloved shirt from Zara that features a gorgeous sequin dinosaur. (If you didn't already know, I have an obsession with dinosaurs...) The dinosaur acts as a conversation starter, added texture, and just another unique element.

The Jeans

These Miss Selfridge jeans look like a pretty simple pair of straight-leg jeans until your eye reaches the very bottom. The uneven frayed hem on these babies add another wonderful detail to this outfit, and they draw your attention to the shoes!

The shoes

These little babies pretty much talks for themselves, but what makes these a little different from your average heel is the color, the point, and the mini heel! I could, honestly, not be more in love with a pair of shoes! They're comfy and gorgeous...literally my dream shoe.

The Bag

As you know, by the fact that this bag has feature so much on here, I love this bag. The mini size and bee embellishments are what make this bag so unique. Those little details make this bag shine brighter than all other bags! I also added a little cactus keychain for even more interest!
