How To Make a Summer Piece Winter Appropriate

I hope you are all having a lovely winter so far! It is almost Christmas and I'm so excited to be with the fam! I feel as though I'm already running out of winter outfit ideas, so I've decided I need to get a little more creative. I think incorporating some usually summer pieces is the best way to expand your winter wardrobe.

A good summer piece to incorporate into your wardrobe for this winter season is a lightweight vest. This particular vest is from Make Me Chic.

To make my vest more winter appropriate, I added a simple white turtleneck, and my straight cropped jeans from H&M. I added a little bling with the metallic heel on these grey Steve Madden pumps. I'm enjoying these heels so much because they're comfortable and equally gorgeous.
