Matcha Smoothie Bowl: Tested
Hello lovely people! As you all know, I follow many fellow bloggers and gain inspiration from their ventures. Recently, I've noticed an awful lot of beautiful breakfasts. Among these are the, now blogger famous, matcha smoothie bowl. After seeing the rising popularity of this beautifully colorful breakfast bowl, I decided I'd give it a go!
With the help of Skinny Matcha Green Tea powder, I came up with an easy and delicious recipe for you guys to try out too!
Main Basic Ingredients:
- 1 TBSP of Skinny Matcha Green Tea Powder
- 1 banana (can be frozen for a thicker consistency)
- 1 cup of Ice
- 1 heaped cup of spinach
- Optional fruit (mango, apple, etc.)
- An optional dash of milk/ almond milk/ soy milk/ coconut milk
The above ingredients are the ingredients that are actual put into the blender. (Be sure to avoid putting any red fruits into the actual smoothie as it may turn it an awful brown color.) Just blend until there are no lumps and add ice to thicken consistency.
Obviously, a lot of the toppings and some of the additional fruit ingredients are optional. Just customize to your own personal taste buds!
Next are the smoothie topping materials. These are what really make it look beautiful!
Optional Topping Ingredients:
- Oats
- Fruit sliced for garnish (strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, etc.)
- Toasted coconut
- Sliced almonds
- Granola
You can obviously tell from the ingredients that this is very healthy for you. The Matcha tea powder is supposed to provide extra energy and boosts metabolism! I felt great after having my smoothie bowl.
I'm also feeling very inspired to try other different smoothie bowls. I'm also excited to try my Skinny Matcha in other forms. Their Instagram has matcha in all its glory and so many great ideas!
