Hello fabulous friends,

Hope you have all had a lovely weekend doing fun things. I’ve been in Newcastle visiting my brother and Felicia. We’ve been eating, shopping, and playing with the hamster all weekend. To combat those Sunday evening blues and to start feeling motivated for the week ahead, comment down below with something you’re excited for this week or next weekend. I’m excited to go for an interview on Tuesday for a stylist position. Anyway, let’s get on to this week’s colourful blog post.
Typically, this time of year, I talk about the most popular shades to add to your spring and summer wardrobe. (If you want to check last spring’s colour forecast click here.) I thought I’d follow on the four year old tradition and dedicate this post to the most popular new colours for SS20. According to Pantone, the colour gods, the hues below are the ones to keep an eye out for and which will suit you best.

Biscay Green

A brand new green is on the scene and it has a bit of a fresh, neon feel. The great news about this color is that is flatters most hair colors and skin tones. I’m wearing it here for a pop of colour and it works with my pale skin and hair fairly well. This hue is sure to add a refreshing feel to any outfit and looks especially good with pinks for spring.

Sunlight

Maybe it’s a hint to the weather gods from Pantone…or maybe just a lovely name for a colour. This shade primarily flatters darker skin tones and hair, but can be great on paler skin tones in smaller doses.

Coral Pink

Coral has been in the lime light for a while now, and it’s not going anywhere. It’s a shade that suits everyone, so maybe that’s how it’s managed to stick around. Like most blush tones, it’s easy to pair with most other colours too, like greens, blues, and neutrals.

Saffron

Saffron has been a popular colour with the athleisure and streetwear fans recently. This shade is a bit harder to style, but it looks really cool with black and white for a punch of colour. It adds a vivid, optimistic essence to your outfit.

Mosaic Blue

Mosaic Blue will be a best friend, especially to blue eyed beauties, but again is a universally flattering colour. Think denim when styling this colour and it will fit seamlessly into your wardrobe.

Which colour(s) do you think you’ll be most likely to rock this season? A hint of green? A dash of blue? Comment down below how you plan to incorporate these colors into your wardrobe. Also, you can shop my outfit down below. Head back over next week for another blog post and in the mean time, follow me on social media. Have an amazingly productive and fab week, guys!
