How Accessories Can Change An Outfit
Happy Sunday,
Hope you’ve had another lovely summer weekend. What have you been up to? I’ve had a fairly chilled weekend. Yesterday my friend, Megan, and I went for brunch at a really cute place, called Hoi Polloi, near our apartment. We shared spicy Spanish eggs and chocolate banana pancakes. Then we went to see The Lion King which brought back all kinds of childhood mems. Today, I spent the day walking around the British museum and eating fish & chips in the park. Anyway, on to why you’re all here, this week’s blog post.
For this week’s blog post, I wanted to talk about taking something as simple as a black t-shirt dress and making it into an interesting outfit all using accessories. Accessories often get over looked, but they really can take an outfit from boring to glam in seconds.
Jewellery
A little bit of bling is key to making a t-shirt dress look more exciting. For this outfit, I through on two necklaces, my ring, and a gold bracelet. I think having a staple set of either gold or silver jewellery is a must for any wardrobe.
Belt It
One of my favorite accessories at the moment has got to be a waist belt. I’ve recently picked up two and I can’t stop wearing them. I feel like they take any outfit from zero to one hundred so quick. My belt is from & Other Stories.
Statement Sunnies
You guys know I love a statement pair of sunnies. These are from Oliver Bonas and add the perfect pop of colour to this mostly neutral look.
A Killer Bag Of Course
You can’t make a simple outfit exciting without an exciting bag. I always think a bag can make or break an outfit. A great bag might be the most important accessories of all.
