Spring into Spring

Happy Sunday friends,

How are you doing on this sunny Sunday? I’ve had a bit of a roller coaster week, but feeling positive about what’s to come. My goal for this week is to be more confident in myself and my abilities. Comment down below with a goal you’re setting yourself this week.

For this week’s post, I have a warmer weather outfit, due to the premature spring weekend we had a couple weeks ago. We’re are now back to fairly chilly weather, but I thought I may as well post this bright spring outfit to get us feeling inspired for the weather to come! We are in March now after all. For this post, I’m just going to walk you through my first real spring look of the season.

Shirt Dress

One perfect dress style for spring is the shirt dress. The shirt dress is a versatile piece that can blend in with your work wardrobe and your casual one. I found this dress in a little vintage shop in Nottingham when I was visiting my lovely cousin, Alex. I love the deep green color, and I’m a sucker for any kind of long sleeve dress. I’ve found some similar alternatives for you to shop below too!

Denim Jacket

Denim jackets were made for spring, weren’t they? They’re just heavy enough to keep you warm in the shade, but just lightweight enough to keep you cool in the sunshine, or in the hot tube, in a Londoner’s case. I chose my cheetah print number to add a little extra pattern to this particular outfit.

Chunky Trainers

For a more spring appropriate look, I decided to trade my staple ankle boots for some chunky trainers. I picked these up from Bershka, when Fergus and I were in Milan.

Bright Bag

I’m breaking the pastel pink bag out again ready to match the spring blooms. It’s time to trade in your black and neutral bags for your colorful bags once again, kids.

Thank you so much for reading this week’s blog post! Check back next week for a new blog post. Special thank you to Lucy for taking these photos of me! She’s a dime as always. Remember you can shop my outfit down below. Obviously the dress was thrifted, but I found some great alternatives on ASOS for you instead. Check back next week for a new post!

Georgie x
