Romantic Picnic Outfit
Happy Sunday,
How are you all doing on this sunny Sunday, friends? I hope you're all having warm weather and a relaxing weekend as well! I just arrived at the beach so get ready for some summery beach posts in the coming weeks. For this particular post I wanted to talk about how to rock a romantic look this summer whether it's for a picnic, summer wedding, or any other occasion!
Lace is Key
To nail a romantic look this season, you're going to need a little lace! As you know, red is one of my favorite colors to rock, so this lace dress, from Tobi, was the perfect piece for me! As well as the color, the ruffle detail around the neckline adds to the romantic feeling as well.
White
White is always a great color to rock in the summer because it makes you look a bit tanner than you really are, but it's also great for making an outfit feel more effortless and charming. I went for this white denim jacket with tan stitching from Forever 21.
Straw Accessories
Straw and rattan materials are very on trend this summer and have a timeless feel about them. This gorgeous straw bag, from Boho Bags, was the perfect option for me to add to this look! To compliment the bag and add a little extra whimsy, I also threw on my straw sunhat! The straw accessories also tie into the tan stitching on the jacket.
Find Yourself a Romantic Location
Last but not least, to really finish off your romantic summer look, find yourself a whimsical location with some character! A field with a view, an old-timey diner, or some romantic architecture should do the trick! Our good friends, were kind enough to let mom and I crash their farm and make use of it's lovely location!
Comment down below what food would be a must have at your summer picnic? I think mine is strawberries! Did you fall in love with any of the items I'm wearing in this post? Never fear, because you can shop my outfit below if you're interested in any of the gorgeous pieces I'm wearing! Thank you so much for reading this week's post. I hope you enjoyed it! Special thank you to the Abels for letting me and my mom crash their farm and take these awesome photos!
