Hello and happy Sunday friends,

I can’t believe another week has come and gone again! I swear these weeks are flying by. Have you been up to anything exciting this weekend? Comment down below if you have! I’ve been going on autumnal walks, drinking hot chocolate, and hanging out with my lovely fam. I am missing my mom, dad, and pups though! This autumnal weather is really making me want to bake something pumpkin flavor and watch Halloween movies!

For this week’s post, since I haven’t had a chance to get any outfit photos, I thought I’d talk to you guys about my job and some of the things I’ve learned while doing it! Many of you might not know, but I’ve been working part-time as an online personal stylist for a Google owned company called, Tailor! I’ve been working for Tailor since last November, so it’s almost been a year now and I’ve really enjoyed it! I’ve also learned a lot about styling other people and really making them feel happy with their own personal style.

Everyone Deserves Their Own Style Opinions

While you might think the color mustard is absolutely disgusting, someone else might love it to bits! Every person deserves their own likes and dislikes when it comes to fashion. Taking other’s opinions and likes into consideration is really important especially in personal styling.

Different Styles Flatter Different Body TypeS

This one might seem obvious, but sometimes it’s hard not to just style someone in what you think flatters your own body type. Different styles exist for this reason and it’s to flatter the endless body types in the world. It’s important to find what best flatters each body type and make each person feel confident and fabulous!

Styling is About More Than Just Clothes

Sometimes personal styling is more about building relationships, providing reassurance, and being good company than just clothes or fashion. I’ve learned how to build relationships through one of my favorite subjects, fashion! It’s also about helping people express themselves and help them feel confident, which is so rewarding!

Thank you so much for reading this week’s blog post, friends. I hope you got to learn a bit more about my current job and what I’ve learned while doing it! Styling is such an interesting job and really challenges me as a creative person. Remember if you want to check out Tailor you can download the free app anytime! It’s super easy to use and even I use it to help me find certain pieces I’m shopping for. Join me again next week for another post!
